Prices

A 60 minute appointment with me is charged on a sliding scale between £35 and £65. See below for details on 90 minute appointments.

The sliding scale model allows those who are experiencing greater financial means to support those who are experiencing economic hardship. I find The Green Bottle illustration a helpful starting point to consider where you might fall on this scale. Someone whose experience fits more closely in the first bottle might pay closer to £65, and someone whose experience fits more closely in the third bottle might pay closer to £35.

I invite you to reflect upon your circumstances to consider what feels appropriate for you. Please be mindful that this system works based on honesty, and is not an invitation for a cheaper massage. Please note that my sliding scale works differently for 90 minute appointments. Prices run from £70 up to £100. These are charged pro-rata, which means that if you’d ordinarily pay £60 for a 60 minute massage, I invite you to pay £90 for a 90 minute appointment. I am not able to offer the lower end of my scale for these appointments at this time. However, please get in touch if you need to pay a lower rate but worry that you would need more time for any reason, particularly for your first session.

I accept payment within 24 hours of the appointment by cash or bank transfer to: Riverflow Therapies, Mettle Bank, Account No: 36020208, Sort Code: 04-03-33.

Accessibility

My flat has level access to the street. Turning circles within my flat are unfortunately too narrow for most wheelchairs. If this presents a barrier, let’s have a chat about some available options.

I offer pathogen-safer appointments by request. I invite you to indicate when you’re booking if you are immunocompromised, or if you’d like a pathogen-safer appointment. You can review my Covid-19 and Pathogen Safety Statement here.

When booking, I invite you to let me know your access needs, so I can tailor our session and support you to feel held. You may have sensory sensitivities, or require a shorter session. You may have specific requests around music, pressure, lighting, levels of chat. It’s all customisable! Let’s work together to create the perfect container for you to feel comfortable.

If you are feeling unwell, or are experiencing a flare in inflammatory or immune-related chronic illness symptoms, drop me a message and we can reschedule with no charge. It’s best to allow the body to rest during these periods.

My massage table has a maximum working weight of 267kg/42st and a width of 71cm/28”. I aspire towards inclusivity of all bodies, and regret that limitations in my workspace mean that I cannot have a wider table. I have found that arm space can be limited for some broader clients, particularly when lying on their back. For lying prone, I have additional arm support available beneath the headrest. Your comfort is my priority, and I welcome ongoing negotiation to work out how we can best welcome your body.

Cancellations

As a small business owner, last-minute cancellations can have a big impact on me. If you need to reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible.

Cancellations within 24 hours of the treatment will incur a 100% fee. I can offer some flexibility in the event of cancellations due to Covid-19 infection and chronic illness flares. Thank you for understanding.
